I have just had a Biopsy on my upper lip and nose, yesterday. Advised only to take Paracetamol if in pain. But in  the  mornings I  take Bendroflumethiazide and evenings I take Simvastation,  is it OK to take these today?

Thanking you

Thank you, had not thought of that.  Our chemist is closed on a Saturday - so could not check there.

Clare   😀 oops can't smile at the moment !

That sounds sore, poorclare.  Hope it heals soon.

Khandro,

If you click on Paracetemol it says:

No interactions were found between bendroflumethiazide and Paracetamol.

Hi Naomi24, that number does not work in Northern Ireland.

Yes it was painful having it done and is very sore. Shall leave my other tablets to Monday.

Have a nice weekend.

Thank you Wolf.

wolf ;  If you give the full quotation it says; "No interactions were found between bendroflumethiazide and Paracetamol. However, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. Always consult your healthcare provider."

Healthcare providers are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

That number should work in NI

Can you not get 111 to dial out or are you asked which part of the UK you're from?

If it's the latter, say you're in Scotland, for example.

Question Author

I have telephoned the number and THEY told me the service does not apply to NI and suggested I ring 999.

You can usually carry on with your regular meds, Bendroflumethiazide in the morning and Simvastatin in the evening, unless your doctor told you to stop them. Just stick to the Paracetamol if you’re sore, and if you’re ever unsure, give your GP or pharmacist a quick ring.
