Whilst working and playing on my main laptop I usually watch YouTube, Netflix or Amazon Prime on my Chromebook.

I have been getting an error code when I try to watch a Prime Video. I googled the problem, updated my Chromebook and then ended up chatting to Amazon customer service.

I have now got the Amazon App installed and running, but I prefer to watch via the browser.
Is there any advantage to me using the App? I have a few Superhero videos to watch that I will have to watch via the App due to the error messages.

But is it really better than watching via the browser?

I can't see that it would make much difference but if it does matter to you have you tried a different browser?
There's not much difference but it does allow offline viewing. Why do you prefer the browser?
