I tested positive for Covid on 30th March and have felt really 'off' ever since - panic attacks, sleeping for England, brain fog. It's been awful. I've now booked for a booster jab for this afternoon at 3.00 and am working myself up about it, really scared. If I don't have it, will it matter? Any advice would be most appreciated. The doctor has given me some Diazepam 2mg and I have an appointment to speak to her next week. I've had one Diazepam today (about 11.00). Should I take another? I'm 81.

Personally, I would not have the booster in your present state of emotional and physical state.

I would postpone.

Yes, if you are going through with your booster, then it would do no harm to take another Diazepam 2mgms.
It wont hurt if you don't have the booster you have already had covid, better that than risking the fallout of possible reactions. Pfizer released another 80'000 pages of vaccine documents (that they wanted hidden for 75 years) basically saying the Jab is not very good.

You have probably done your body a favour by giving it a miss
my vaccine centre says you have to wait 12 weeks between having covid and having a booster
it jsut says four weeks here, bednobs

///If you have a COVID-19 positive result, when can you have a booster?
You will still need the booster but you should wait at least 4 weeks from your COVID-19 infection.///

But really, if I felt like hellywelly, I'd take Sqad's advice.

Thank you for your advice - I will wait a while as you suggest Sqad.
I know I’m not alone with this dreadful anxiety and it does help to be able to ‘speak’ to you all.
Postpone!

you probably havent
Mrs Cheese is an anti-vaccine troll
80 000 pages of piffle on how it doesnt work - she says

Hey Mrs Cheese - 186 000 dead people and now none - all because of vaccine. we know this because the unvaccinated still croak

I have read some of the internet - huge amount on vaccine and long covid but not in the right order

The advice to give it a miss is based on YOU giving covid to the vaccinators

I thought they had vaccinated long covids and followed up the results. They have. benefit seen

"The association between Covid-19 vaccination and long Covid in people who already had it before the vaccine. They found that the first vaccine was associated with an initial 13% decrease in the likelihood of self-reported long Covid, although it’s not clear from the data whether this was a lasting improvement or if symptoms returned after an initial improvement. PP : "Hey Mrs Cheese - 186 000 dead people and now none - all because of vaccine. we know this because the unvaccinated still croak "

'Between 30 April 2022 and 6 May 2022, there have been 1,300 deaths within 28 days of a positive coronavirus test.'

Unfortunately both vaccinated and unvaccinated are dying.
"The pandemic’s toll is no longer falling almost exclusively on those who chose not to or could not get shots, with vaccine protection waning over time and the elderly and immunocompromised — who are at greatest risk of succumbing to covid-19, even if vaccinated — having a harder time dodging increasingly contagious strains...The vaccinated made up 42 percent of fatalities in January and February during the highly contagious omicron variant’s surge, compared with 23 percent of the dead in September, the peak of the delta wave, "

Stay home Hellywelly4 and don't worry about the booster. I hope you start to feel better soon.
