The average RF value is 12.2 IU/mL, with 14+ being classed as 'high' by some sources. There are, however, variations across genders and age groups.

(Note though that other sources regard either 20+ or 23+ as being 'high').

However that information needs to be read in conjunction with that to be found on this page (from the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society), in order for it to be of any real value:

Rheumatoid Factor - oh is that the new sing-song show for old people?
anyway...

The "normal" range (or negative test result) for rheumatoid factor is less than 14 IU/ml. Any result with values 14 IU/ml or above is considered abnormally high, elevated, or positive.

so yours is abnormal

your doctor will tell you what that means
Specifically whether it is High ( but dont know what that means) or whether is 100 is bad and 200 is twice as bad....

(or as another internet site says : Although treatment response is a robust determinant of a decrease in RF, it does not appear to be associated with declines in the anti-CCP antibody level.

which is doctor-speak for - "you get better with treatment and the level isnt much good in telling how much better"
