DD and her partner came down from London late last night...11pm.
They've just left. He woke this morning feeling unwell...sore throat, aches etc. Did a lft test and it only showed a faint line. DD felt borderline not quite right. She'd done 4 tests during the week including one today. All negative.
Now I'll be super aware of how I'm feeling...

Pasta, I really believe those tests are not that reliable.
I know a few people who tested negative at first and then positive.
My test was positive on Thursday but apart from feeling extremely tired and a headache worse than I usually have, I would think I just had a bad cold.
Watch out for the symptoms over the next few days, I hope you will be ok. xx
I bet you will. I'm in almost the same position.

Thursday pm I was chatting to a neighbour for a few minutes while I was sitting in the driving seat of my car with the window down. He was leaning slightly into the car, my side, checking something on the dashboard.

Friday pm get a message that him, his wife and daughter have all tested positive for CVD19.

So fingers crossed for us both Pasta.
Best wishes to you both.

Will it never end?
It'll end when it ends.

Probably not Tilly.
My mood has been so bad recently. I feel it's one worry after another, and these are the times I just hate the aloneness. Almost anything can trigger a bout of tears, and I don't tell anyone, otherwise the floodgates will open.

But Toby has just come out of hiding after disappearing under the bed since last night. Something to smile about...
Oh pasta, I know how you feel.
I’ve also got a very hidey cat, and my (grown up) child lives 4 hours away.

With Covid, a few of my rellies have got it, but no one’s had it bad.

(I used to live in Plymouth. I looove Plymouth)

My daughter was saying it's amazing they've not had it sooner as they are quite sociable. Though she might have had it back in 2020, before testing etc.
How long did you live here...whereabouts?
Thank you Tilly. x
I was in Plymouth from 1988 - 1992. I’ve lived all over the place. The Hoe, Devonport, North Road West, Crownhill, Mutley
Question Author
I live near Devonport, my ex and I lived near the Citadel. I've been here since 2001 and it's booming now compared to back then.

Lb...I've got my toes crossed also.
Pasta - do you know Elburton? I used to go out with someone donkey's years ago (in the 1980s) His parents used to live there and we used to visit. I think I have only been back a couple of times in all that time.
Question Author
I know "of" Elburton. It's to the east of the city, and out of the way for me. Usually it's passed by/through on the way out of the city.
Hope you will both be ok lb and pasta.
I went to Midlands for BIL funeral on Wednesday.
Lots of people not seen for years. Hugs no masks at all.
Sometimes you just have to take the risk. Apparently down here is the second worst area in the country at the moment. So hopefully all will be well.
Have had my 4th jab 10 days ago.

Thank you Gilli. I'm a few months short of my 75th, so will have to wait for booster.
Daughter has messaged me, partner had very definite positive result this morning...she is still negative. She had exact same symptoms last week. Odd.
I'm ok so far, no headache or anything other than I now experience every day. Too early to be completely sure though but all good so far.

Hope Pasta is the same.
Question Author
Ok so far Lb.
...but I'm the kind of person who starts noticing every little thing...
