British Army Infantry - Sliding Hiatus Hernia?

Does anyone here have knowledge on medical requirements for infantry soldier in the British Army? I had a gastroscopy a couple of years ago and it was picked up that I have a 2mm sliding hiatus hernia on my esophagus. Would this completely bar me from progressing in selection? I have seen mentions of hernias in medical requirements but it seems a it of a gray area. If it was to be a complete barring is there any way around it at all? When it was picked up in my gastroscopy I wasn't told it was anything to worry about nor that it would need any surgery so it seems pretty low risk from that perspective. Any advice would be much appreciated.

I think that your best chance of a meaningful answer might be to use the Live Chat function at the bottom right of this page:
https://apply.army.mod.uk/

There should be real people to answer questions there (rather than automated bots) between 0830 and 2200 on weekdays and between 1000 and 1600 on Sundays. It's unlikely that they'll have a direct answer to your question but they might be able to furnish you with a phone number or email address, enabling you to contact someone with the relevant knowledge.
