I am 38 years old and just delivered a baby 8 months ago. I also have 9 years old daughter. Few days ago I found I am pregnant again. Is is unplanned accidental pregnancy. I didn't want any more babies. Mentally and physically I am not prepared to have another pregnancy.
I am also reading that at my age back to back pregnancy will be high risk one. But my heart is sinking when I think about terminating pregnancy. What should I do? What would you do in this situation? Please help.

You must do what is best for you.

If you honestly believe there are health risks, mental or physical, in carrying this pregnancy to term, then you must consider your options.

Speak to your GP about obtaining some professional conselling.
You have a while to decide. First speak to the father, tell him how you feel. Then go to a midwife and speak openly with her. You do have a higher risk of Downs Syndrome. Maybe have an early scan.
Whatever you decide it is your decision. Write down the negatives and positives of continuing or terminating the pregnancy. Take your time. Good luck
To me it is quite simple, if you cannot afford an abortion then you will have to take your pregnancy to term.

If I were you at your stage in life without being in possession of your social status, I would seek abortion...........if you can afford it.

The decision will be made for you on financial grounds.
Have the baby.
Cannot imagine bringing a baby into the world unless it is genuinely wanted and will have a reasonable expectation of a decent life. Doesn't sound to me like you are in the right frame of mind to give it the care and attention it will need.
The fact you are pregnant in 2022 is ENTIRELY your fault, - contraception being your prerogative not your child's. You must be brave, and see it through, this LAST child could be the greatest blessing in your life.
I think it would break your heart to terminate the pregnancy.

Only you can decide, of course. In my experience of my own and my friends’ unplanned pregnancies, generally the ones who had abortions knew straight away what they would do and had no regrets.
I was in two minds, like you are. Different circumstances, I know, but I kept mine and am thrilled to bits with how things turned out.
Good luck whatever you do.
Khandro, it’s not entirely Nilu’s fault. No contraceptive is 100% safe. You make it sound like she’s being punished by god, or something.
Cloverjo, God doesn't punish by pregnancy.
Do what you think is best
Have you thought about putting the baby up for adoption? I have 2 lovely grand daughters who were adopted by my daughter. You could bring joy to a childless couple.
how can we help?
you should be discussing this with your doctor not us
