Erythritol - How Long Does It Last When Its Dissolved In Water & Kept In A Closed Bottle?

As above - i was to dissolve a certain amount of erythritol in water & keep it in a closed bottle - but how long will it last, unrefrigerated?
I dont need to keep for more than 2-3 days - will it be ok?
Ok as in safe to consume & not taste weird.

Erythritol side effects typically include digestive problems and diarrhea. It may also cause bloating, cramps, and gas. Additionally, erythritol and other sugar alcohols frequently result in more water in the intestines, causing diarrhea.

I meant for adding to food that is to be cooked, for drinking cold or making up jelly.

Erythritol is a very stable substance which cannot easily be broken down even by strong chemicals. Stored as you suggest, it appears that it would be fine for weeks rather than days.

To give an idea of its stability, it is being added to toothpaste, so it must keep at room temperature for a very long time.

It's safe for diabetics, has no affect on GI

Yes, it'll be perfectly safe to keep for a few days as a solution in a glass or plastic container at room temperature. No degradation will occur and it will be safe to consume and will not taste weird.

This sugar alcohol is commonly used in food science laboratories in universities to teach students how to chemically distinguish erythritol from other sugar alcohols such as mannitol and xylitol via HPLC and other methods. The test solutions are made up days before they are needed and kept at room temperature.

I'm just drinking it. once its fully dissolved it doesnt have all the bloating effects but it takes a while for every granule to completely dissolve.
heat kills the sweetness, so i dont know if boiling water would ruin it.
I have POTS & found out quite by chance that it relieves a lot of symptoms.
I then googled it & discovered it is already known to affect blood vessels etc.
i just wanted to make up a small bottle in the morning & drink a bit during the day without having to keep spooning it into glasses & waiting etc

Hi - I was gonna say - until it goes cloudy - BUT it is probably safe to drink even then. involved in the contaminated glucose solutions 50 y ago and look!
