How are you spending yours?
We are off out to a local Indian Restaurant, early evening, then we can come home and put our feet up.
No thinking what to have, no preparation,no cooking and no washing up.

I'm really looking forward to it.

Staying home, staying safe, fairly normal evening.
We might watch the a live streaming I've earmarked but its not a big thing with us really.
Pub in an hour, home by 8 o'clock. Stew for dinner, already cooked. Bit of Lewis on the telly. Fall asleep by 10pm.

Bliss :0)
Pot Roast dinner (Kerry Lamb) - easy for me to cook and generates very little washing up for gness to feed into the washdisher - then some TV quizzing with Paxo and then the New Year celebrations on TG4 and/or BBC Alba.

I have an excellent bottle of Baha Irish Whisky ready to toast 2022.
"Whiskey" dratted autoincorrect checkspler
Staying in with a Chinese takeaway , watching some recoded stuff , bed around 10-30 for me ,he’ll be watching Jules Holland , be interesting to see the Lasers lighting up the night sky for miles around down on Newcastle quayside instead of fireworks
No pub for us, Tilly. Our government had decreed that pubs and restaurants must close by 8pm.
That must be when the virus wakes up.
Before eight the pubs will be crowded so, as our village has lots of visitors at this time of year, we are avoiding them til all is quiet again....well except for the Síbín. ;-)
Going to in-laws' house for a meal. I've put my foot down and told OH I don't want to stop over so we will come home and have a toast then.

Tomorrow I am planning to work all day from home. I've got work coming out of my ears.
Going out for a meal and then to town.
Out early for a couple of pints with friends, then back homeabout 21.00 to see the new year in,probably with a few shots of Glen Morangie. Dave, don't be too hard on the spell checker Whisky, usually scotch,Whiskey usually Irish so either spelling will do the job.
Hi, Paddy....I only drink Irish so he gets an earful from me if he leaves out the e.... ;-)
Give the Baha a try sometime....bliss.

I'm toasting in the New Year with Irish Mist.
Not tried that, Tilly. Is it sweet? We'll be drinking our Baha in mist by the look of the mountains just now.

Anyway, enjoy your evening, whatever you're doing.

I wish you all a Happy and healthy New Year. (Let's hope it's a good one...)
And we return those wishes, Tilly..x

It is sweetish Gness but not overly so. It's a liqueur, very warming and sleep inducing. ;-)
Will give it a try.
A few tasty nibbles, some good TV and a glass or two of White Port.
All ready to add stock and go - 3 hours should do it

Love white port, mamya - a much under-rated drink
Pubs close at 8 in ROI, wow. Here are some people lining up to get into the Temple Bar in Dublin...Only 5 hours to go:
