Husband has had blocked nostril for some time. He gas a cold, and gave his nose a good blow, and we think a polyp cane down. It's been bleeding quite heavily but has styled down a bit now. Would it be wise for him to ring GP?

Assuming that the bleeding stops, it might be quicker to consult a pharmacist, who can supply a steroid nasal spray without the need for a prescription: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/nasal-polyps/
Deal with the bleeding first then make contact with GP for a referral to ENT, sounds like time for removal.

Thank you both.
Going to Pharmacy now and will ring GP later.
Stopped bleeding now.
No need to do anything.
Blowing or sneezing out nasal polyps is very common.
Leave well alone.
