Covid is approximately no 9 on the list of things we die of every day, so why are they not reporting states on the Top ones rather than still banging on about Covid?

Time to just suck it up and get on with it and accept that we have to live with it for the foreseeable future? Why are we feeding the jobsworth types that are loving this? Not to mention trashing the economy for no good reason.

it was on the BBC, like it has bee for the last 18 months. Surprised that Boris was there TBH his mum died today. Anyway pointless exercise now.
Do data and information cease to exist if they are not announced in the media?
I didn’t see today’s it but surely daily Covid briefings finished months ago?
Today’s was a special one to announce future measures
Today was the Winter Plan Announcement.

I don't watch daytime TV didn't know they were still scheduled daily.
we don't do we?
What all was discussed in yesterday's daily briefing then?
// it was on the BBC, like it has bee for the last 18 months. //

BBC had been screening them on 1. but it wasn't on 1, nor on 2.
It might have been shown on the BBC News Channel.
// it might have been shown on the BBC News Channel. //

ah, the UK equivalent of putting it on the Yokohama Docks Cablevision Channel......
I was listening to BBC radio earlier and they announced that they’d be covering the PM’s briefing later.
Don’t know if it was on BBC1 but as Tora says, by now we don’t I think need to have this on mainstream channels any more
It's the claim there have been daily briefings for eighteen months that I'm querying.
"UK equivalent of putting it on the Yokohama Docks Cablevision Channel......"

It might have been on Radio Five Live, either way, have there been daily briefings?
"Why Are We Still Having Daily Covid Briefings Etc?"

Because everyone has not been vaccinated yet, and to cover their backs when (and if?) an inquiry gets near the truth. (//My contgention is that such a conclusion is not proveable,...// )

Winter is near and Boris says he can't 'rule out completely' the possibility of mandating vaccine passports...Mandatory face masks and working from home may be necessary if the NHS is overwhelmed.
“ It's the claim there have been daily briefings for eighteen months that I'm querying”

There haven’t been daily briefings for many months. At least not on tv anyway.
In another thread, you link to to-day's briefing because comments made by Nicki Minaj were discussed.

Seems a bit strange to criticize something you use to illustrate your argument in the other thread.
Because your imagining it. There very rare these days or at least have been over the summer. There was one from the scientists yesterday about vaccinnes for 12 to 15s and one today for the winter program. I doubt there will be more than one Moretaine month.
It was to let people who think they are invincible and covid can not affect them go into work and supermarkets without wearing masks ,and take the pee out of people who do take precautions, realise that covid is still very much with us.
"End of"
Here we go...
