I paid a visit to my gp regarding changes in my bowel habits, she examined my stomach area, and then took my pulse anyone any ideas why.

Part of a patients general examination. (*)

seventies, 50% patients would complain they hadnt been properly examined by a doctor if their pulse hadnt been taken.

(*) Hutchison's Clinical Methods has a chapter on the pulse - and it is not one sentence: - "just dont bother"
oh and - what should I do - isnt a 21 y old gel
