Felt unwell for a few days - did two home tests which were both positive, so was told to go to a test centre, which he did and that was also positive. : (

Awww... hope he feels better soon. If it helps, my 22 year old daughter had it in December, a couple of days of breathlessness, a day of lost taste and then absolutely fine x

He shares a flat with his best friend , who now also has to self isolate with him. He has a cough, temperature and generally doesn’t feel v well x

My daughter in law's young brother has just gone back to work after catching covid. He's about 23. He was unwell for a couple of days, then fine after that.

My daughter had it a few months back while pregnant, Mother and Bab y are fine so all should be good for you. Teens have minimal risk of problems.

Just the pain of isolating, but if you know you have it then it has to be done.

Most of the young people i know who have had it have not been all that ill from it. A few days of feeling a tad unwell, then they're up and running again.

My friends son had it twice, so definitely possible. We had to delay collecting my daughter from uni as she come down with it a couple of weeks ago. She was a bit poorly for a couple of days but otherwise OK, though her taste and smell is taking a while to fully return.

I’ve just had a thought - his flatmate has obviously got to self isolate for 10 days with him, but what about all the other prison officers on his wing that he’s been working with every day, right up until yesterday?? And the inmates??

he should of tested himself as soon as he felt unwell

As far as I'm aware, it's everyone he has been in direct contact with.
I got a call from Track and Trace once, but unfortunately, about 6 days after I actually knew. And I lived with her. So, don't rely on them. Contact them yourself x
