Good Morning Early Birds

morning one and all, its a tad warm here in the capital, making it very hard to sleep, so i thought i would just start the day - i hope you are all well and not suffering too much in the heat,
i have a busy day ahead, with deliveries from all over the place, and a pick up by Bright sparks the charity of all my nearly new furniture, its because i had a change of heart and bought new tables etc in the last couple of weeks. so the 6 month old stuff is going to good homes i hope.

same with yesterday, my massive glass vase was delivered in a humongous box inside another, with what looks like cork packing - i am going to have to ask the guys who will be picking up my goods to take it down stairs as i can't manage it as its too heavy.

i was awake at 3am, pottered about sorting out the things for the charity collectors who are coming here around 8-1pm

i know what you mean, my flat is stifling, may be 35 or more in here, its too hot to sleep so thought why not stay up...

This house/garden is an absolute heat and sun trap. Goes from one extreme to another!!

whereas mine stays warm even in winter, i don't have central heating, but everyone else in the block does, if you see what i mean.

I am usually an absolute sun lover - I will sit out in it all day but even ive struggled this week and that’s really unusual - it’s been so humid my skin is literally wet!

me too, i have been out and about in the last few days, even going to Bluewater shopping center in Kent, all the while getting a tan just by being out in the sun for a little while.

Poor teen smow(must change his name - he’s 21 now lol). Did overtime e yesterday and spent 14 hours handcuffed to a prisoner in hospital(he’s a prison officer officer!!. Mind you, he got paid £325 for it!!

I had a charity collection last week - took lots of unwanted clothing, towels etc, they were very lovely and grateful x

i can't drive and what i am donating is 9 pieces of large furniture, plus photo frames, lamps, clock. They are picking up half the goods today and half on tuesday.

at least that is the plan, i hope they don't let me down... i have had quite a clear out of good stuff they can have.
