Never heard of it.

If you mean ESR.....then 60 is neither here or there....in a solitary one off situation.........meaningless.
Estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate (eGFR)
Mine was 51 Baz about
5 years ago. Doctor said she's not worried about me...
Know next to nothing about it but looks like at 60, they'd want to re test at a later date.
//A GFR of 60 or higher is in the normal range. A GFR below 60 may mean kidney disease. A GFR of 15 or lower may mean kidney failure.//

Oh- I thought eGFR was to do with the kidneys
It is, encouraging Patsy.
Yes, Mamya. She was an excellent Dr and I don't worry about it.
Have you made a will?
Mine was 56 last Dec but when repeated 3 months later it was 60
Sorry.....it just didn't register-:)
It is a measure of how your kidneys are working and classifies kidney damage CKD chronic kidney disease into 5 stages.
Your result looks pretty norma.
The posts of Elliemay are spot on.
Yes - 60 may well be accepted as normal as long as there is no other evidence for kidney disease.

Your clinician should explain your results Baz.

Weren't you experiencing swelling/fluid retention?
Patsy.........I am not questioning the opinion of you doctor or putting doubts in your mind, but 51 cannot be swept under the carpet.
Check your blood pressure.
Exclude Type 2 diabetes.
Watch what medication you are taking.
Sorry sqad, only just seen this. I've been out.
My blood pressure is low. No diabetes. Although it was said I was border line a couple of years ago, but apparently ok now.
I take Lanzoprazole, Venlafaxine, bisoporol..
