I have to take Naproxen twice a day, when should I take the Omprezole, straight before the Naproxen or a few hours before, I forgot what the doctor said, and it takes ages to get through on the phone, any advice appreciated.

It doesn't particularly matter aas long as you take it at the same time everyday
No interactions are noted, take together as Bednobs says above.
The omeprazole is almost certainly being prescribed to reduce the (possible) gastric effects of the naproxen - I'd take it an hour or so before the naproxen.
But it lasts for 24 hrs so as long as you take it the same time every day it shouldn't matter
Only partly true, bednobs - although you get a general effect for 24 hours, it has a peak in efficacy around 30 - 60 minutes after you take it - therefore it is most useful in preventing gastritis from the naproxen if taken around 30-60 minutes before your naproxen dose.
Even more important, is to take the omeprazole before you have breakfast and the naproxen after - the omeprazole works best on an empty stomach and the naproxen does less damage on a full one.
[ I speak not as a doctor, but as an occasional user of anti-inflammatories for joint pain and thus of PPI drugs to mitigate any associated gastric problems - and I've done my homework with my medic friends ]
I take my omeprazole first thing when I go downstairs, with half a glass of water, before coffee, toast, anything.
I found Ibuprofen to be more effective than Naproxen - when it comes to a gout attack, so no need for Omprezole.

I've been on Purinol for gout for a while and very little issue now but what was brilliant at lessening a gout attack was colchicine (that can be used for other inflammations) - it's doctor prescribed though and usage is limited - they don't know how it works as to the chemistry in taking out the uric crystals....

Thank you for your answers, I have to take a thyroxine half an hour, before I have tea, coffee etc, so I may have to time it all correctly and get myself in a routine with my medication.
