Bloating

I tend to bloat, after eating I look about 6 months pregnant, I also need the toilet soon after eating, I have no pain, but I am also windy, I was ruling out IBS as I dont have any stomach pain, any other ideas what could be causing it, please.

My dad and a friend had same symptoms and were found to be coeliac and need to avoid foods with gluten. Thet have no problems now.
Digestive sensitivity? Are there specific food groups that are worse than others? I can't do beans and pulses.

No it seems to happen, whatever I eat.
Do you gulp, or swallow a lot of air as you eat?
Try keeping a food diary of symptoms and food. It might be more pronounced with certain foods.
Do you eat high fibre bread?

Try cutting out bread and wheat altogether for a while, particularly anything high in bran.

Have porridge to replace the fibre.
Yes.....from your description, the first thing to came to mind was gall bladder problems, gall stones.
It could have course be due to many things but gall bladder disease needs excluding.
See you GP who will elicit a more indepth history and of course examination.

I dont have pain, with the bloating Sqad, just feels uncomfortable, I would of thought anything to do with the gall bladder would be painful.
Not necessarily so fruitsalad, pain only occurs when a wondering stone gets stuck.
People with gall bladder problems, commonly and mainly compla8n of "flatulent dyspepsia ", that is after eating just a small amount of food, at the beginning of a meal, feel "blown out "......bloated.
I had very similar symptoms and have this week just been diagnosed with colitis

mumstheword1 what test did they do?
Friutsalad I had a colonoscopy which in it self wasn't too bad as they gave me something to relax me but I fell asleep. But the preparation before hand of clearing my bowels was quite traumatic for me.
