Has anyone had any experience with Smile aligners or family members who have? A relative took delivery of hers on Saturday and has apparently been in total agony, living on paracetamol ever since. Her parents are actually in tears for her suffering (she's in her 50s). Surely they are not meant to hurt that much? On top of that she is apparently supposed to wear it 22 hours per day and can only drink water when it's in. I'm somewhat in disbelief.

How old are you then prudie? If your relative is in her 50s and I'd having it done are you a lot older?

Not much older than her really, she's my sister-in-law. This is why I've wondered in the past if I could use this system. I have only gone on my Polish dentist and he said I was too old. I can't find anything on the Smile type websites that limits age.
Skegness is listed as the number one destination in the U.K. for orthodontics.
