Just Amazing Weather To Sit Outside Your Favourite Pub

With your best friend ( Mr B) and soak up the rays , we only had three drinks but it was most enjoyable + a smell of BQs permeated the air on our walk back,
We both don’t do BQs, dislike them with a passion .
What have you done on this beautiful Saturday ?

Stayed in, decorating. Unfortunately, it's been cloudy and dull here...with some rain for good measure.

As soon as the sun shines, there are at least half a dozen neighbours who get the barbies out. And it absolutely stinks:-(
I've done what all gamblers do on a Sat afternoon, Bobs. I've sat indoors and watched the racing :-)

Mrs. bb and I sat outside our house and admired our displays of potted flowers (Mrs. bb takes the credit for those), and then we admired our well-trimmed lawn (our robot takes the credit for that). When we'd finished our admiring, we opened a bottle or two and said 'cheers' to each other.

Nothing exciting but still enjoyable. I walked the grandchildren’s dog this morning, gardened and then sat in the garden reading my book. Last weekend I was surrounded by barbecues and music that wasn’t my style but today all was peaceful as I sat in the garden.

Took SirSniffalot walkies, then been watching the French Open Tennis tournament.
Neighbour has taken Sir out again just now for more walkies and I shall make both dog and man a drink when they come back. No doubt we'll talk about what Sir got up to while he was out, like how many blades of grass he sniffed LOL.

We went to the kitchen place today and we've made some considerable changes.

I have just woken from a 2-hour VERY deep sleep in which I was dreaming a right load of utter nonsense.

We have some meats and fish marinating in this and that ready for the BBQ later. I have to go and make a salad to go with.

You're not kidding, Bobbi. I have not been sleeping well in the hot weather and I've only been sleeping here and there for the last week or so. I felt fuzzy-headed when I woke up just now.

It's my youngest granddaughters 1st birthday today so have spent a lovely afternoon with 2 daughters, 4 granddaughters and 1 son in law.
Sunny all afternoon but turned cloudy on the way home.

Had a lovely chat with friend when I met her out on a dog walk earlier today and we decided between us to go away next weekend and duly booked it ! I love a BBQ, but like others on here, can't stand the smell of them all around me !

had some chores to do early on, then decided to go to the local and have a couple of beers. I was going to have lunch there too, but just grabbed a sandwich from local shop and had that instead
My friends are currently away so we won't be meeting this weekend, but i had my book to keep me company. came home and sat on balcony till the sun went down, all in all a nice day.
