We All Have Those ‘Special Moments’ What Was Yours?

Mine was seeing my grandson fight to be here, born at 24 weeks weighing 1-10, driving home that evening from the hospital the song on my car radio was George Michael ‘Amazing’ even now the lyrics make my eyes leak

Seeing my 1st daughter being born, a breech birth.....and she peed over the specialist quack square on as her bottom cleared! 'That's my girl'....But, seriously it was a truly special moment and, dare I say it, more special than when number 2 emerged a few years later - but then she has created her own special moments.....

In fact had one today. Met up with my sister, not seen her for fifteen years!

Every moment with my son is a special moment but when OH and I fetched him yesterday from Nursery his face was beaming with happiness and he jumped into my arms and kissed me. He looked so happy and he'd clearly had a fantastic day with all his little friends.

Another special moment that stands out in my memory is the day I got married. We went out onto the balcony after the ceremony and our 6 guests were on the street below taking photos and then passers by and tourists began stopping to take photos too.

no he and i were off from work, we spent the 12 days of Christmas together, along with his lovely son from a previous marriage. we only met in the October then he asked me to spend the entire Christmas with him and the son.

12 days of eating, drinking, laughing, enjoying Christmas as it used to be, that first one with Mr Em was magical. I introduced him to a local pub where we walked to on Christmas day, my birthday, had a bottle of champagne and got quite merry.

yes it was, we did have other good ones, but that first was excellent.
