Rather than taking a pill, you could try something like Pirinase nasal spray or Boots own-brand Hayfever & Allergy Relief Spay...I find the latter very effective and a whole-lot cheaper!
Are you sure it's hay-fever?
I did have it one year, when I didn't have a horse, but immunised myself again when I went back to it. Perhaps it is to do with being inside more.
Interesting theory - could well be the case.

Not sure Pixie,it’s the only thing I could put it down to as I don’t feel poorly so not a heavy cold
You could try local honey? One teaspoon a day, first couple of days it feels like the biggest mistake you’ve ever made but it really works.
Question Author
I really don’t like honey, it makes me gag :0/
Question Author
But if it works I’m willing to try it, thanks
Just wondering, bobbi, as I've been sneezing this morning, but it doesn't feel like a cold.

I think there must be a high pollen count and we’re surrounded by fields here
Here too... although I agree local honey is meant to help, if you can bear it.

We have a Fruiters in the village which gets local honey in
Sunshine can make some folk sneeze.

I have had hayfever only a couple of times (last one a few year ago when on leave) and I had to buy sunglasses to wear over my glasses so I could leave the house.
Sounds like hay fever.
Boots sell a Beclametasone nasal spray as you can't take antihistamines by mouth.
I get it every year. Not as bad as a lot of people but I wake up bunged up then my nose and eyes start running. It just irritating.

Thank you I’ll try that Sqad ( and honey )
I get it all year round. Not hayfever, but allergic to most things, so chronic allergic rhinitis.Like you anti histamines make me likes zombie, evenbthevnon drowsy ones. Try sterimar spray - the allergy one. it cleans out the nasal passages, washing out the allergens. All pharmacies stock it.

Thanks all
Very high levels of tree pollen, with some trees flowering later because of the co-op spring more are in flower at the same time. You may be like me,I only have symptoms with tree pollen, and late Autumn due to mould spores as the leaves rot. No problem with grass pollen
