Have you found an alternative way to exercise and keep fit? Will you be going back to the gym or stick with your new, cheaper regime?

I stopped going to the gym about 4 years ago, set my own up at home.

I think a lot of former gym goers will not bother going back, potentially saving a lot of money.
What equipment do you have in your gym, TTT? Are you a Rambo type or more a Mr Motivator? :D
I have a concept II rower, a life fitness 9500hr cross trainer and a load of free weights, bench, squat rack etc. I'm on the look out for a sensibly priced chin/dip assist machine. regarding the Rambo/Motivator point I suppose I'm really just trying to do enough to stay fit. I find the x trainer for 30 mins 5 days a week is great for overall fitness but last week my knee started playing up so I'm talking a week off at the mo.
TORATORATORA, if you or anyone else are looking at exercise/gym equipment and are tempted by anything on ZBICEPS.CO.UK, avoid them like the plague, they are scammers.

My husband has an early morning session tomorrow... the moment the gym is open again. He can't wait to get back to it.
Cheapest way to use a gym is to cycle or walk there, then turn round and go back home.
It's better than driving there and then having a couple of sticky cakes in the cafeteria afterwards.
I've never been to a gym in my life. I can understand some classes like zumba...participants look like they are having fun. But anytime I see photos of several dozen people rowing/cycling/using weights...I don't see enjoyment.
I enjoy the gym and will be back there this week.
Have been going for 23 years and it helps my mobility. Have missed it and not walking as well or feeling as good without it.
Pasta, a good workout releases endorphins which make one feel good. I do all my exercising at home but i suppose those that use a gym either may not have the room at home or need others for inspiration.
I was going to the gym but only because it's in the same place as the baths. I've been longing for the baths to open again but, as I'm having work done on my ear the same day, I don't know if I'll be allowed to swim, if that's the case it'll be the gym again.

I've done absolutely zilch to stay fit in the meantime.

It's very easy to get out of the habit :(
My neighbours gym is doing spinning classes outside with distancing. Not sure if it fits the requirements but it seems to be sensible.
