I'm sure Hallmark love it! Utter waste of money.
After my upbringing I refuse to have anything to do with saints days.
Unless it means the gift of roses and chocolates.
With luck Dave will see this thread.
Just another day for me. I've never bought someone a Valentines card, ever.
I love romance. Big hugs and kisses and lots of love!
It’s ok. I won’t be going out for dinner on that date though.
Theland....you can be romantic everyday.
Luvi It! Luvit!

Roses are red violets are blue
and so is the film
I want to star in with you.
Sqad trust you to make it smutty! :-)
don't care one way or other these days...
It took me a while Sqad.
For a moment I thought you had turned into an old romantic.
LOL...Happy, me romantic?
A money making exercise , we don't cards or gifts once a year to know we're happy with each other
Commercial rubbish thought up by card makers in Victorian England. Been married 30 years this September and have never had a valentine's card by request. I get flowers all the time off OH we don't need a 'day' to prove anything.
got them off Mr Em, they were nice to have but since he's been gone a long time, nothing, but i don't mind in the least..
Same as ummmm. It means nothing to me. Romance for me has to be spontaneous, not a fixed day on a calendar which is nothing but a me making excercise.
Money making!
Actually though, I'm really not a very romantic person which is just as well, because OH isn't romantic at all!
50 years married next year and we don't celebrate anniversaries either!
We celebrated our Silver anniversary but that's all, we may have a nice table meal each September 16 but that's about it
My thoughts about it this year of covid is the same of the thoughts about my wife's birthday, which is close to it, with the restaurants & shops all closed there is not a lot one can do in the form of presents or treats.
I'm looking for inspiration on Amazon, any suggestions ladies?
