I wear bladder control pads so why does urine run down my legs when I stand up to wipe myself I always take my time at the toilet and I always read a magazine to ensure that I take my time it's really bad I can barely sit down for 5 minutes before I have to go toilet again.

Can I ask how old you are?

It's probably the tensing of the stomach muscles as you stand up.

Are you on any medication?

Definitely speak with your GP. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Have you tried pelvic floor exercises. You must do them properly and as often as possible

I've never seen anyone about this problem it was the age of 16 I started wearing bladder control pads because I kept on wetting myself and didn't realise until it was too late that I had to go toilet.
Ah! then it is essential to seek medical advice to determine whether your problem is psychological or has an organic basis e.g neurological.

My doctor isn't seeing anyone because of covid 19 they can only give you a prescription.
Our GP is seeing people, went there yesterday, only difference is that they just check your temperature when you enter.
You've suffered with this for 12 years?
Please see the doctor...explain exactly why you need to see one. Don't take no for an answer. It may be something that's easily corrected.
Our GP is still refusing to see anyone - telephone appointments only. But I agree with everyone - you must ring your doctor ASAP.
Get a phone consultation. You GP may then refer you to a urologist.
Your GP (presumably) has been seeing people for the last twelve years though....why on Earth haven't you been?

I have autism so my mummy would have to talk for me and I didn't need to go to the doctor at the time.
