You often hear people saying they have got through their dark times with the help of deceaced relatives. For example "oh i couldn't have got through xxx without my late husband/Mother/Father".

Well, i was always very close to my Dad who died over 20 years ago and always thought that he would be there for me in one form or another should i need his support.

The past 2 years have been probably the worst of my life but i have felt no 'comfort' if thats the right word, from anywhere. I feel so let down maybe he's not looking out for me as i had hoped.

Sorry, but I'm feeling so upset at the moment.

All I can say is Darcey my beloved Dad WAS there for me when I needed him. I had lost him about a year earlier and I was now losing Mum and I was a mess. I called out to Dad in my utter grief and yes, he helped me and it was special and wonderful and I will NEVER forget it. There were also signs he was around at other times for Mum when she was alone and I believed every word she said. When Mum died, I was hoping to have some sort of experience that she too was around and looking out for me, but sadly it wasn't to be and to this day I've never experienced anything and I miss her so very much. I have no idea why it works out that way, I only know Dad WAS there when I needed him, it keeps me going to be fair. Maybe we'll all know the answer one day. Hope you're feeling better.
