I have cut all my stinging nettles down and soaked them in water for 4 weeks
what benefits will I get ?

From what I can gather, if you put it in the wrong place - lots more nettles!

If you get a hangover from the nettle wine, eat some boiled dock leaves.
When I first read the original post I thought it was a reference to claiming Universal Credit or similar
Apparently Peacock butterflies lay their eggs on stinging nettles, so they can be useful!
Also, the food plant of the small tortoiseshell butterfly in its larval stage. So it's beneficial to leave a patch of nettles for them.
Agree totally with the last two comments. Nettles are very beneficial to butterflies.
