Eleven days ago while out shopping, i tripped on a raised paving stone and went my length on the pavement. I was lucky, nothing broken but a badly skint knee, slowly healing up but shades of blue and green bruises remain. I think my chest took a bash when I went down and am wondering when I stop getting pains in my chest. Could it be internal bruising?

I wouldn't be surprised, but I'm not a doctor. Do you feel it's getting worse?
like you i fell and fractured both wrist and elbow and smashed my chest down ,i had a lot of chest pain for about 3 weeks, they thought i might have cracked ribs(didn't it was just pain) .i went to a walk in centre ,if you feel really bad could you go to a walkin centre just to be checked out hope you feel better soon xx
I am not quite sure what you mean by"internal bruising "
If you mean lung damage then the answer is almost certainly no, you haven't any internal bruising.,but if mean bruising to the ribs and or chest muscles, then you probably do have some bruising
This is no big deal and does not require medical scrutiny.
Take Paracetamol or Ibuprofen for the pain and it will certainly settle given time.
hi sqad
nice to see you back
Hello sqad - how lovely to hear from you. Are you taking the paracetamol? (Sorry, sorry, just lovely that you are here. :))
[With aplogies to Lyn]

Greetings, Sqad (and Happy Birthday!)

It's good to see you around again ;-)
Our Sqad is back! :o)
Glad you are back SANDRA,
I didn’t wish you happy birthday,
I know you are not into that.
Lyn, that must have been a shock to your system. Take it easy and take your painkillers. I wish you well.
