My husband has a slightly raised itchy rash mostly on his upper arms, had it about 5/6 days. I can remember my Mum saying something about a Spring rash. Does such a thing exist? I've been using E45 Itch Relief cream which helps a bit. Any ideas please?

I got a similar rash on the back of my neck. I put it down to the rapid change in weather, so yes, possibly seasonal. I dab of hydrocortisone for a couple of days got rid of it
'Spring rash' is possibly polymorphic light eruption if your husband's skin had been exposed to the sun:

. . . or perhaps just hives:

If it was me, I'd be reaching for some antihistamine tablets, to see if they'd help. Loratadine is widely available and dirt cheap too!

Thanks I did wonder about anti histamine tablets but will have to check with pharmacist as he takes a lot of medication. Wouldn't want to do more harm than good. Thanks for replies.
