Just wondering if anyone has any clues. I’ve already seen the doc and had no help.
I’m breathless just walking a few steps. Inhalers don’t help. I get heart palpitations after eating carbs, or late at night. I have B12 jabs but wonder if I am lacking magnesium or potassium. Also very fatigued. Are there blood tests for this?

do you have an excess of vitamin K in you, the breathlessness coming to mind, and need to look at Warfarin....Doctor and sooner than later....
Has this come along suddenly?

I am surprised GP has not investigated further, I presume they sounded out your heart and lungs?

Are you prone to anxiety?
Question Author
I take Super K complex (K1 and K2) once a day. Didn’t used to get anxiety until my benefits were stopped 6 months ago and since then my health has generally got worse. I’ve had it a few weeks. Doc just said oxygen finger test was fine and no lung rattling.
Have you had your iron levels tested? Could be the effects of anxiety too. I would go back to gp for further tests.
No idea if the K supplement is involved here or not but as DTC says, worth investigating. Anxiety certainly can play a role.
You need to get your iron levels checked also as this can cause aneamia making you tired and breathless. This happened to me. Heart, lungs all fine but get very tired with the smallest effort.
Have had to have iron infusions and injections.

Suggest you request from your GP an ECG or Echocardiogram - I was very breathless on exertion and it was discovered I did have a heart problem though previous examinations revealed nothing.
Question Author
Harling what did the ECG reveal if you don’t mind me asking?
The echocardiogram revealed, to my utter astonishment, that at some point in my life I had had quite a major heart attack yet I cannot recall there being a time when this happened! Apparently this can happen (so Cardiologist told me) and one can read about this on Google. I am female.
What's a oxygen finger test please.?
It's a little device that clamps on to the end of your finger (it is painless) and shows the amount of oxygen in your blood. It only takes a few second and every surgery has one.
Thanks.
Oh right cheers, not been to a doctor in 20 years, hence the question. :0)
