There is a scheme going to be tried in Scotland to give drink to alcoholics
But I can’t find the link,thoughts on this?

can't see that happening, why would anyone give drink to alcoholics, if it were remotely true then it's bonkers.

why not.. surely it's better to try and rehabilitate drinkers than give them more wine..

emmie not everbody has what it takes to stop drinking. The Managed Alcohol Facilities are for a specific group fo people who are NEVER going to be able to get clean. have you met anyone like that?

i have had many friends who were dyed in the wool alcoholics, some got clean some died...

Jordy read the link! the Canadian Project is now 19 years old and has 14 centres across Canada. Its never going to be the best solution for someone with an alcohol addiction but for some people its the only solution.

no, they were too far gone, in my opinion they couldn't be helped, some really nice people too...
