i have lost all sense of smell and taste for 6 months now
hoping its not anosmia. need see doctor about it

want to try some thing before i go see doctor as it takes forever to get appointment

Then why post for advice?
Anosmia is loss of sense of smell. as symptom, not a disease.
If you want to try a nasal decongestant before seeing your GP then try Sudafed Nasal decongestive spray OR Beconase Nasal Spray.
After 6 months, it is unlikely that your sense of smell will return as you should have seen your GP earlier .
14.04, Then why be sarcastic.
...if it takes "forever" to get to see your GP....a good reason to make an appointment early on, when symptoms start?
