Depending on the time of year, cosy hat, scarf, gloves and socks. Plus a nice bar of chocolate.

Small scented spray perfume
Talcum powder
Bar of chocolate
Mini Lip balms

Travel wet wipes
Packet of colourful socks.
Inflatable neck pillow.
Body spray, mints, nice pack of very soft comfy undies x
A couple of pence, maybe a £1 or £2, they might need to ring somewhere like a shelter for the night, it comes in handy or just so they can go in somewhere and maybe buy something they fancy themselves
Hat, scarf, gloves. Hairbrush and comb. Compact mirror for ladies. Stamped post cards and pen in case they want to get in touch with family

Blessing bags they are often called - here's an idea of some of the items that would be handy for them https://www.thriftynorthwestmom.com/blessing-bags-assemble-bags-keep-hand-need/
Vouchers for various shops might be a good idea so that they can purchase their size underwear and other stuff they need.

Thanx maggiebee they have no pressure to use them but it might encourage them to get in touch with family if they have just upped and left, especially teenagers etc
It's not virtue signalling to help another human Spicey, it's common decency.
Probably someone in the wrong topic.

The suggestions in ducksies link are good. Particularly the plasters and vitamins. Even when food is available, it may not be the most nutrious, so anything that gives a boost is useful. Dried fruit or nuts are also good nutritionally.
