I started playing badminton after long time. When I try to hit the shuttle hard my lower bicep starts aching. I do warm ups and stretches, but still lower part of bicep (little above the elbow) starts aching. Because of which I lose strength to hold the racquet. The pain vibrates down till the end of the arm (palm). If I rest the pain reduces completely with out taking any medicine. The next day again pain is back if I start hitting the shuttle hard again.

How often do you play?
Question Author
I normally play every day except monday.
If you've just started that's too often. Try once a week for a month then build an extra day each month. You've gone in too hard too fast.
Maybe your technique needs tweeking or assesing
You're maybe just getting too old for this sport.
