Do You Wear A Wig? How Difficult Are They To Wear?

A good friend has alopecia and has very little hair. Shes thinking of getting a wig but looking into it a bit more is confused about caps, meshes, combs blah, blah.

We thought it would be as simple as buying wig, plonking on almost bare head!

Any advice appreciated.

She needs to go to a hair salon that specialises in medical hair loss and appropriate. They will provide and style the wig to suit your friend.

A friend of mine is attending a salon on Wednesday for exactly the same reason. I'll let you know how she gets on.
My DILs mother wore a wig following chemotherapy. However, she had is specially made for her and you wouldn't have known it was a wig. Think it might be worth investing a few pounds if it has to be worn regularly. (PS this wig could also be washed and blow dried).
