I have a scar that gives from my shoulder to my elbow from falling. My step mom got really mad when i told her it was still there are three months after an argument about if it was a scar. She didn't think it was. That stupid scar is causing her to get mad at me when she sees it. I've tried oversized t-shirts where the sleeves go down to the elbows, but the sleeves will slide and still show the scar. Steven thinking about trying makeup! I LOATH makeup! I don't normally change myself for other people, but it's getting ridiculous.

Wear long sleeved tops.
A huge colourful tattoo would hide it.

But, just think how mad step-mom would get;-))
1ozzy, Rainbow is only 13.

Rainbow,Why is stepmum mad cos you gave a scar?
I'd go with WB long sleeves
I know, hence the smiley at the end ;-))
Have a look at dermablend.com.
Their products might help.
At 13 I think long sleeves are the best option. Dermablend in later life.
at 13..who really cares ? kids are always covered in scars, scabs and cuts.. when you are grown it will fade..as boaty said ..long sleeves if you must..but why bother if you are not ?
Honestly why bother covering it up..it will fade to nothing given time. I am interested in why she is so upset by it and hope that upset is not rubbing off on you...however if you feel you need to cover it up then longsleeved t shirts are probably the answer for the moment. Please try hard not to worry about it yourself or become self conscious about it...us older people are covered in scars and they simply fade with time....and I am hard pressed to work out where they are despite living with them for ages
I have a long scar from my shoulder after a fall and operation ,not one person has made a comment about it .it is part of me now .
and get your dad to have a word with step mum x
tell yourself and your marm that it will fade
just wait
and it doesnt sound like a proper scar - three months is very short to expect it to fade ....
Tell the outrageous bat to mind her own business, there's nothing to be ashamed of having a scar, I have a little chunk out of my forehead that's really apparent from certain angles / light, and my partner had his face rebuilt after an accident and has several, doesn't bother me or him a scrap, so I can't see why your step-mother is so touchy about yours, or did she injured you and that's the reason you've got it in which case it might be guilty conscience behind projected?
Does your step mom think you may be self harming? Is that why she gets mad?
^^Crikey typo central- apologies, but you get the drift :) ^^

She did not injure me. I was at my friend's house and her cat tackled me. The chair fell over. The scar is still there and that was over a year ago.
Then why does she get mad?
Question Author
She wants me to be perfect, but not better than her.
She sounds as though she has mental health problems. As Minty says wear long sleeves x
