Over the years i have been giving diet tips to my friends as off the cuff helpful advice.
i have realised that every single one of them , who stuck by my method have lost weight and maintained their weight loss.
I am now contemplating starting an online group to share my specialist secret
and i want to charge for this.
How should i go about it?
any tips or advice please?

I use a site that charges a monthly subscription. There are no ads. I think many bloggers...the ones I've seen are for both cookery and diet/health...have ads tied in with offers for readers. I suppose the owner of the blog gets a commission.
Now you'll have everyone on AB wondering what your secret is ;-)
In theory, a good money-making spin. However, when somebody is going to pay for an advisory service, they will rightly want to know your credentials.

Simply describing your "expertise" as "given good advice in the past" isn't going to convince them to reach for their debit / credit card. Particularly when you haven't had first hand experience or tried and tested (by yourself) experience.

If you had any qualifications in dietetics or experience working for a weight loss firm such as Slimming World or Slimfast, you would appeal to a wider audience.

Most people probably do know how to lose weight, they just can't change their ways.
If people followed the weight loss advice that is generally given they would lose weight ....... so your tips would have to be somewhat different from...eat less, eat more healthily, get more exercise etc etc etc. Assuming that it is quite different from the above and doesn't use any form of drug then I would think the first step would be to get a group of people together and weigh them as they follow your tips ... somewhat in the style of weight watchers and slimming world
You need good insurance in case anyone comes to harm
You will need some sort of qualification to validate you as a seller
Proper research to prove it works
Independent validation to give you credibility
Then if you manage it you could try setting up a local group and expand from there, but it's a saturated market especially as GPS can refer to Slimming World.

The secret is that i get them to add to their diet
it adds £3.50 to their weekly shop initially , but as they lose weight and educate their stomachs to expect less they end up decreasing their weekly shopping bill
Go on Sinderella, tell us and we won't tell anybody else. ;-)

would i be allowed to put a link to the FB page?
I stand to be corrected, but if there is a chance of financial gain then it may be seen as advertising.
It does sound intriguing all the same, made me think of the Ancient Egyptian method of a tummy chain or cord, that wouldn't be an expensive outlay to start with.

I want to know Sindarella, in fact I need to know, I have to get down to a specific weight come hell or high water for a specific date. I can lose the weight okay but keeping it off will be an entirely different thing :/
Kvalidir...ditch the carbs!
But...as I was about to type more, I remembered that you are Type 1 if I'm not mistaken. Take a look at this forum...it may be of help.
