Some of you who have seen my other post in the 'law' section on here will know a bit more about my situation.

But basically something bad has happened and now I am just waiting in limbo to find out what the next stage is, which could take months.

The whole situation has stressed me out so much that I can't sleep, I can't eat, I have knots in my stomach all the time and sometimes it gets so bad I'm physically sick. I get periods where my hands won't stop shaking and sometimes I just burst into tears.

I just don't know what to do. I know it's caused by my current situation, which I can't walk away from. But how am I supposed to cope with potentially months of this?

Knowing the cause doesn't make the stress and worry any easier to bear - a kindly GP may prescribe something as a stop gap or recommend some talking therapy.
it wont feel like this for months - it will most probably fade a bit after a while. Its still all new
As I told you in the first question.Talk to a solicitor. You can get 1 hour of advice for £10 or even free. Just talking to someone who knows the situation in detail will be a big help. Also the CAB can give free legal advice again as I told you. I know its hard but, this really is a very minor matter & I still think it will not get to court. Again as said talk to your GP. They can help with the stress.

Thank you for your advice. I'm hoping things will get better soon.
Hope so.
Lois, I don't know what your problems are, but my advise is to keep everything in perspective, stress is a dreadful road to go down and can have repercussions a long time after. So sort your problems out as soon as you can , talk to someone, it is so true that a problem shared is a problem halved ( well maybe not quite, but helps to de stress). I had so many problems a year ago and until I unburdened myself to my son I couldn't sleep and had those dreaded knots . Everything can be solved ( except death and terminal illness of course ). There is always someone worse off than you, small consolation, but look at the good things in your life. Hope it all works out for you.

You can read about what happened here if you can be bothered to. https://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Law/Question1603333.html

Unfortunately this isn't something we can quickly resolve as we are currently playing the waiting game. My husband is getting my favourite food tonight so I'm going to try and eat something. I am feeling a little better at the moment, it's just a bit of a rollercoaster and it's good to have somewhere to vent to so thank you all for listening :)
Hi Lois - stress is a dreadful thing but I had read your post in the law section and as everyone has said there - I wouldn't worry about it. At the most it would be a small fine if anything.

When I read of the most horrendous things that are going on - majority get a slap of the wrist. You'll be ok x
It might be worth speaking to your GP. Let him know the situation and he might be able to give you something short term that will at least allow you to get through the day a little easier and get a good night sleep.
