Since having his stroke my husband is continent during the day but wears a pad at night because he sleeps heavily and doesn't wake for the bottle. Recently I've noticed he isn't passing much urine during the day but his pad is always very wet at night. Is this all right. He does have an enlarged prostate for which he takes tablets. Is a trip to the doctors necessary does anyone think? In all other respects he seems fine.

There could be many reasons why his urinary output has fallen, the simplest being that he isn't drinking as much during the day OR it could be due to his medication of which we have no knowledge.
I can only suggest that you take him to your GP who will have the details of his medical history and drug therapy.
