You can't generalise, a sudden death is just that whether during sleep or not. A PM may show the cause but not always conclusively.
Could be the heart failed during the sleep.

It happened to my father. He was found with the covers up to his head. In some ways a blessing, as if the covers had been thrown back it would suggest he was in distress before he died.

"What can be the cause this?"
How long is a piece of string?

Only a post mortem can answer your question.
There seems to be little point in giving you a list of probabilities especially as it is such a wide age range.
It is a matter of "you pays yer money and you takes yer choice"
Lots of people die in their sleep, it's a perfectly natural and normal thing, and I hope to be one of them one day (but not too soon obviously).
Kvali....not at 30yrs of age ^^^
My son's best friend died in his sleep aged 23. Diabetes for him.
It could be anything for anyone else.
16 years old boy died in his sleep last week not far away from us.
On that note I'll bid you all Nighty night.... hope to see you in the morning xx
I suppose given all the people going about the place it's remarkable that there aren't more of them developing faults.
If they have not seen a doctor within two weeks then it has to be referred to a coroner.
Most of the cases that are certified by the GP go to the coroner because of Dr Shipman in Hyde

it is then a six month suck to get a Death Certificate
Under 20 it is usually electrical ( ht firing abnormally ) and the post mortem just shows they are dead. - get to them early (ha!) you can do decent meaningful DNA studies.

Children are different - the commonest cause of death is leukaemia - in Chicago 5-15y it was - - - gun shot and then leukaemia.

One neighbour - he had chr bronchitis, smoked, chronic pancreatitis, diabetes, oh and was alcoholic and the coroner took six months to issue a death certificate

Another I said - "I dont know why the coroner is dawdling and fiddling over this - he was diagnosed with lung ca and that is plenty to die from"
and the daughter said - because I asked him to hold an inquest.
oo-er mrs ! you cant complain about a delay if you do something like that !
PP -
For reasons I am no prepared to share here I would like to connect outside ab - how to do this if youare willing?
oh hullo Toorak
set up a throw away gmail address - spookster666 or something and advertise it here and I will respond.

( and it'll fill pretty quig with junk ... ) - clearly the address should not be a play on your name.
//On that note I'll bid you all Nighty night.... hope to see you in the morning xx//

to sleep perchance to dream - ay there's the rub
for in this sleep of death what dreams may come
when we have shuffled off this mortal coil...

actually the words of Sgt Blackmore when he bamma-lamma-lamma'd the Afghani on camera ( oops!)
er he didnt write them - Shakespeare did!
It's caused by a sudden attack of death,& happens to quite a few people. Just remember if you get an attack of this it will kill you.
PP - I will try ...
I was finking dat Whiskey -
why are they not waking up - erm because they are dead......
Toorak, I was going to suggest you use - 10 minute mail - but you both need to be conversing at the time as it disappears after 10 mins (which you can extend a few times) but gives you time to get in touch.
Thank you - will try tomorrow
