Watched it on TV. In one of the many scenes in which the black ops people are yelling at each other in a control room, one senior official screams 'What is wrong with Monitor 17? I want picture there now! A lackey issues a frightened 'Yes Sir'.

The senior staff then immediately walks out of the control room never to return and indeed nor do we the viewing audience. So I sat through all the rest of the film (enduring mindless moped chases and factory shoot outs and a contrived 'LURV' interest) waiting too see if monitor 17 got fixed - but the film ended without anybody letting me know. I was very upset. So why was it written into the script anyway if they were just going to ignore the poor little thing?
