Toe Nails Cutting

is it only me, or do other people find this task almost impossible?
the nails seemed to have turned to steel the with the passing of the years.
if anyone on here has a magic or easy method could you share it with me, please.

They do get harder and more brittle. Timing the dealing with them until after the shower, helps.
Or you could use a nail file on them every day, regularly.
Soak your feet in warm
Water for 15 minutes or so first
I had the same problem. A visiting chiropodist who comes every 6 weeks is my solution.
as OG says, I do it after showering, it's much easier.

Of course it would help if I could see them and reach them...

i`ve tried hot showers and soaking them in a basin of hot water to no avail!!
I went to a NHS Podiatrist with a problem and I asked if she could cut other nails, and she was horrified and said she was a Podiatrist, not a Chropodist!

I can cut the nails of my left foot, but not the right. I visit a chiropodist every 6 weeks and he takes care of them.

I wish my fingernails would grow as fast as my toenails.
They do Pasta but fingernails get worn down from using the hands and fingers.
So you do not realise how much they grow.
also, Eddie, I can't chew my toenails.
Since I swallowed that Space Hopper a few years ago, I can't reach !

i´ve got a pair of strong toenail clippers, and a large pair of finger nail clippers, but as i said before it looks like i´m unique on here, as it appears that my toenails are made of steel!!
og´s idea of using an ointment or cream to soften them might work.
The only ones I have trouble with are the little toe nails, they are like tungsten !!

as i said before chrissa1, ive for a pair of those, but theyre not strong enough. wonder if you can get them about 2 or 3 times the size for better cutting power?
