I have long hair which is very dry, i've tried loads of different conditioners but don't rate many. Do you have a conditioner for your hair that you swear by? I always let it dry naturally and don't use any heated things on it.

Im the same as you. I have long hair and mind seems drier of late. It turns out my iron levels are low, which is a symptom of dry sometimes brittle hair. So maybe check your health first. Other than that, most conditioners do their job. I have heard it said that mayonnaise is a good conditioner!
use a vo5 hot oil once a week..I did when I had very long hair and the ends were much drier..worked a treat... there are other oil treatments available
I rub a tiny amount of argan oil into my hair as it is dry and prone to fizz.
This is good. Don't be put off by the price...it lasts forever.

Or, ordinary coconut oil...from health food or supermarket. Aldis is cheap.
I've tried lots but really rate the Hask Argan Oil deep conditioner (available from superdrug). It's a sachet, Hask also do a shampoo and normal Argan range which is good but not as good as the deep one. I also put loads of conditioner on dry hair and leave it in overnight or for a couple of hours when I want a moisture boost
if going for steam bath or sauna I always put an oil on my hair ..comb it through and wrap with a shower cap under a towel... an hour later when rinsed out is super soft and shiny

Thanks all. Patsy33 i know its not my iron levels because ive just been tested.
Oh, well that's good to know. Im sure people got some great tips on internet! Good luck. :-)
It is what happens at scalp level that matters in the end. Try massaging your scalp twice a day. If you use an oil product keep it away from the roots of your hair. And consider reducing the length a little. Just to improve the overall look. A good conditioning colour done in a salon can do wonders too. Just select
something as close as possible to your natural shade.
