I had my flu injection this morning. After doing it, the nurse yelled out "Ive got my first bleeder today" and promptly put a plaster over it. Was this a good or a bad sign or should I just ignore her yelling?

It's really not a problem, truth is skin isn't transparent so easy to cause a slight bleed, some do overreact when it happens.
the nurse has no business telling the world about your treatment. But as Mamya says, no medical problem.

Thanks jno, much appreciated x
I got mine a week ago last Thursday and only today had the usual slightly off feeling, stiffness and temperature.
Thought I'd got away with it this year. :-)
I think she was rude and unprofessional.
"Ive got my first bleeder today"

She was referring to the fact that you were her first patient.
Lol sqad. GM, they had probably just been chatting about it beforehand, and she won a bet or something xx
Had my jab yesterday at the chemist. Didn't feel a thing.
She may have been referring to the guy who delivered her electric bill!
I like that! :o}
When I had mine done, I was told I bled more than anyone he had jabbed so far, just a comment. I know from doing my own injections that it's a bit hit and miss if you hit something that bleeds more.
I'm a bleeder too!! lol
My flu jab left me a bruise that covered my whole arm
I rarely bleed much, after having bloods done recently I had left the doctor's surgery and was just about to call a taxi before I noticed my arm was covered in blood. Had to go back in and get cleaned up, hate to imagine if I'd got in the taxi before noticing. I has a sleeveless top on so can only imagine what the taxi driver would have thought clocking me getting in with blood all over my arm haha!
Oh my the worst that's ever happened to me is they forgot to turn a canula off and blood spurted everywhere!!
shame really as it was the first time they every found a vein on the first attempt!
I had my flu and pneumonia injections a couple of weeks ago. Apart from a little ache in the pneumonia arm, nothing caused any problem. No bleeding.
Awww, that's not good Islay :( I had it once, not as dramatic though, when I was having an infusion, luckily I had a pillow under my arm so it went on that. I'm lucky, I seem to have good veins.
When I had acupuncture with fine needles, I asked why there was no blood and he said there was a 1 in 8 chance of hitting a blood vessel. Strangely enough, the 9th needle produced blood
Oops 8th needle
