Don't bother.....just wear them during the day.
I cannot convince myself that they play any part in the treatment of plantar fasciitis.
rest it and ice it......and enjoy the rest of the ice in a g&t or whatever....
I know people groan but what fixed mine was wearing crocs...the genuine article original relaxed fit ones.
I still get niggles from it and was considering buying 'socks'. The adverts say you can wear them in bed - but all my coaching experience tells me that compression should not be worn in bed.

It's horribly painful, sqad. Done the rest and ice stuff and it now just lurks. Going on a big holiday in Jan. & want to be mobile.

What to do? Have appt. booked for yellow fever etc. jabs. I'll ask then.
You can wear the compression socks all through the day, but I would recommend you not to wear it while sleeping. This is because alot of pressure gets applied to your ankle which can decrease the blood circulation in the leg. Due to certain medical issues, some people are advised by their doctors to keep wearing the compression socks at night also, in that case, you can consider to wear them. Tiux compression socks are known to provide all the relevant information in this regard. Do check that on https://tiux.co/why-tiux-compression-socks/ and pick the right compression socks for yourself.
