Anyone got any suggestions as to how to get rid of this? It's literally just my left temple and I've had it for 3 days. I've tried painkillers, cold compress, massaging it , nothing is shifting it and it's driving me mad....

Erm well I've not been wearing my new glasses as often as they're really irritating my nose.
aha! naughty girl!!
I know you used to be able to get little sponge type thingies to put between your nose and the doodahs on the specs.

Don't do what I did, I went to alter one of mine and snapped it off.

They're just making the top of my nose itch like crazy! (And no I won't lol) . Just want this pain to go....
after 3 days, I think you should go and chat with the chemist, although it doesn't sound like a migraine (horrible, nasty things) - maybe migraleve?

x
No big deal.
What painkillers , how frequently and what dose?
How old are you?
Question Author

Question Author
Sorry 200mg ibuprofen three times a day
snowball...that is nothing.
Ibuprofen 400mgs at least three times a day if necessary.
Are you over 50 years of age?
Question Author
Sqad no I'm not. And yes I've upped the dose and it's now finally just about gone - thankyou x
sounds just like my migraines - lie in a dark room and I agree with others migraleve often helps - but it is not a cure all. Speak to a GP if you can get an appointment. Might be worth them looking you over.
Hope you feel better soon.
If I had that my first thought would be it's sinus related. You could just have a virus.
naaaah!!! which sinus is related to the temporal bone?......NONE.
Still LUVU ;-)
It's 'cos I often get blocked sinuses rather than a proper cold and it often causes a pain low across my forehead. I thought it could be this but only on one side. At least I've got you enervated xx
LOL.......but Snowballs's pain is in her temple (above and in front of her ear.
Get across to the cross dresser thread....coming for dinner.....;=_
