I had a vitrectomy four weeks ago and the eye has healed well and i have good sight in it. The redness has all gone. I'm still putting eye drops in and have been told that the pressure in the eye is slightly raised. Now tonight I've noticed that the eye is red in the inside corner and feels a bit sore. I may have accidently rubbed it as I'm a bit tired. Should I go to the emergency eye unit tomorrow if it's still red? My gut feeling is yes I should but wgat do other AB'ers think? Thank you.

If not settling tomorrow, then go get it checked out.
It's probably nothing more than a bit of conjunctivitis, which can usually be easily treated but, given your recent eye surgery, it would seem to be wisest to get it checked out. (If nothing else, it will stop you worrying anyway).
You go with your gut instinct .

Thank you all. I will get it checked if need be.
Sounds like a small subconjunctival bleed and is no big deal.
If your vision has not been affected then don't worry.
However..the pain...if this persists or gets worse then do go to A&E tomorrow.
You will probably find that the pain has gone this morning.
