Ive read several times recently that boiling bananas and or the skins and drinking the liquid is a good sleeping aid.
Does it really work? Has anyone tried it?

Thanks in advance.

Not done it myself, sounds pretty disgusting to me!
I can't imagine it aiding sleep, I would think you'd be up all night being sick !!
just eating bananas send me to sleep
from the web...
Eat a banana before bed. It's a great natural source of melatonin, the sleep hormone, as well as tryptophan. The time-honoured tradition, of course, is warm milk, also a good source of tryptophan.
Maybe that's why I have been falling asleep at my desk after my midmorning banana ! I was wondering why
I reckon you missed the bit where you allow it to cool, add the yeast and sugar, wait a few weeks then bottle it to mature.
I like the sound of that og!
Might work but doubt you would slip into a deep sleep
years ago I had a friend - bit of a pot-head pixie - who experimented with bananas. this involved scraping the skins and cooking the resultant mush into a solid form which was then crushed into what he described as an evil banana smelling powder. but when added to tobacco and smoked, ohhhhhhhhh boyyyyy!! (allegedly :-) )
Hence the expression 'on a bender'.
