Does anyone know a treatment system for cancer secondaries (on spinal column and lymphatic system) beginning with T? My consultant used a word, and said it's not chemotherapy; also injectible, no hair loss, just makes patient feel a bit dodgy.

I've just googled that, mamya, and that seems to be it. Thanks.
You're welcome.
if it is you FF I am extremely sorry to hear it

for future consultations - it might be worth asking if you can tape them ( use a mobile phone )

tamoxifen is used to limit bone loss - recently been on the news apparently
I think targeted therapy was the word - all a bit of shock to take in when it is you

al they ever said to me was chemotherapy, radiotherapy - hormonal and immunotherapy wasnt really on the cards. - different primary
It was remiss of me not to add my thoughts to you (or the patient if not you) difficult times.

Sadly it is I, PP. Op. to remove main tumour Oct 17th. Second largest consultant has ever seen. Had no symptoms till 5 weeks ago, then passage of blood in urine made me go to GP. Endoscopy, CT scan, MRI scan etc. has followed.

Thanks again for that concern, mamya.

Thanks, marval. I shall keep up with your humour via smartphone whilst in hospital! O2 gives me 50mb of data for £1 a day.
That's right Fred, don't let it take over your mind. AB certainly is an excellent distraction! x
