For ABrs who are BPA aware: Do you think I should remove the commercial wrapping that my favoured brand of Hovis comes in and store it in aluminium foil instead?

If you are worried about BPA you would not buy bread that comes wrapped in it.
I thinik it is a very low risk.

Thanks tremendous, unfortunately, this particular seeded Hovis has the highest fibre content I've seen anywhere....
I couldn't be bothered to change the wrapper, but if it stops you stressing, do whatever you have to do.
Stop believing the myths and listen to the experts!

From the Food Standards Agency:
"Minute amounts of BPA can transfer from packaging into food and drinks, but independent experts have advised that these levels of exposure are not considered to be harmful. Independent studies have shown that, even when consumed at high levels, BPA is rapidly absorbed, detoxified, and eliminated from humans".

and:
"The FSA supports the approach taken by EFSA and its conclusion that on the balance of evidence, at current levels of exposure there is no appreciable health risk"

After all, who's to say that using aluminium foil is totally safe either?
