Has anyone here been stitched up with these before? How long, roughly, do they take to dissolve?

Thanks.

Hi squiggle i have recently had these stitches and it took about two weeks for them to dissolve completely.

I had these, but they didnt dissolve properly!!  After about a fortnight, the nurse at my GP surgery took them out for me coz they still hurt!

Thanks for your answers. Mine have been in for 25 days so far and still going strong. Pulling on them doesn't budge them. They don't hurt or anything, but they just seem to be taking ages to dissolve. I hope they used the right kind!
I had them years ago when I had my children but they were inside so maybe they dissolve quicker. I think they took a couple of weeks.
Mine also were under the skin and took a little over two weeks to dissolve.
